Introduction

CaDD Electronics sometimes has surplus TI-99/4A and other computer-related items for sale. These include literature, modules, software, and hardware. When available, these will be listed below.

A description of the item will be given as objectively as possible. You may ask for more information about an item. We will do our best to provide it. In selected cases we will take a picture of the item with a digital camera and send it to you by email.

However, once you have purchased an item, no returns or refunds are possible. All items are considered to be "as is."

Please understand this before attempting a purchase.

A note about "as is": CaDD Electronics has been supplying customers since 1984. We do not have a single letter of complaint. All of the items we offer are described as accurately as possible. To the best of our knowledge, items are in working condition unless specifically stated. However, given some unfortunate experiences on eBay, and corresponding with some eBay sellers, there are cheats out there. A typical case is: A buyer has an identical item to one we offer for sale. The buyer purchases the item, and then returns his defective item claiming ours was faulty. Some eBay sellers are now marking their items. Some have sophisticaed laser etchers. We have no such equipment. Please! We are not saying you are a cheat, but at the prices offered we just can't afford to ship and reship, stock and restock, and get into seemingly endless harangues about an item. We hope you understand. If this is unacceptable to you then by all means look elsewhere. Thank you.

How to order

CaDD does not guarantee that the items selected will be available. Your order will be filled from what is available, and a refund for the difference will be included.

If you want to ensure the items are available, then send an email to:

cadd electronics (no spaces)
at sign
comcast
dot
net

We apologize for the above format, but it's part of the price one has to pay when dealing with email address harvesting bots.

Important: This email is a reservation. You will receive a confirmation email from CaDD that the reservation is in effect.

The item(s) will be held for you for five business days from the date of our confirmation email. You must then send a United States Post Office money order for the total amount to CaDD before the five days are up. Mail the money order to:

CaDD Electronics
45 Centerville Drive
Salem, NH 03079-2674

As an alternative you can enclose cash, but this is at your risk. Sorry, no other forms of payment are accepted or available.

CaDD will not be responsible for an item that goes missing or is damaged in the mail. If you want the parcel insured, add $2.00.

CaDD will use media mail to send your items within the US.

For overseas orders, we will take the item to the Post Office, or UPS, and obtain the shipping cost.

Please note: If you make a reservation to buy, and the money order or cash is not received in the period allocated, the item(s) will be placed back on the lists as available. You will be flagged, and no further reservations from you will be accepted.

A note about ordering: CaDD Electronics is not Sears, Staples, Best Buy, Radio Shack, or Newegg, or as some have suggested all of the above rolled into one. We are so small that if one person gets ill we may have to suspend business. So sometimes we don't service our dial-up yardsale email every day. Rest assured we will get to it, and in the order received. Given the age of most of the items offered, this should not have to be a high-pressure, get it now or die situation. We had enough of that before being able to leave it behind. So, sorry for being a bit of a throwback. It probably costs us sales, but we'd rather keep our blood pressure in what our doctor considers a desirable range.
